During her teenage years, GIMICO inevitably amputated her right leg from the femur due to disease, and lived with an artificial leg onward. Still, she accepted her state as a form of personality and identity.
Since 2009, she has been stepping into the world of physical expressions. She is actively involved as a new icon in fields such as art, fashion and fetish.
There are many creators who are inspired by GMIKO, thus there has been many novel and revolutionary works created through collaborations with her.
